Projekt angol nyelvű összefoglalója

Within the framework of this project, on one hand we intend to carry on what was included in the ‘Modernizáció a jövő iskolájáért’ 2014 project observing aspects of sustainability. On the other hand, during the progress of the realization of the project new requirements have emerged that would justify the implementation of an extended project including new elements. Based on the requirements and aims to be achieved, which have been drawn up and expressed by the professionals of our institution, 8 individual mobilities are being planned. The realization of the intended project will result in a complex, innovative and modernised process which will affect and cover numerous areas of the secondary education. The sustainability of the project will be ensured not only by the diversity of topics to be covered but also by the number of our colleagues taking part.

The mobilities are designed to satisfy the following aims:

  1. Strengthening and expanding international relations
  2. Further developing teachers’ professional skills and knowledge, strenghtening their pedagogical culture
  3. The complex development of students’ personalities: learning based on motivation and individual needs and developing lifelong skills
  4. Further development of educational pathways based on students’ individual needs

The participants of the projects were selected by the Professional Council of the institution, conforming to the aims and needs expressed by the teaching staff, under the following criteria:

– appropriate professional and teaching skills

– interpersonal and social skills

– good command of foreign language

– their role in the school, their level of acceptance

– their ability of being able to share their knowledge

– motivation, ambition, persistence

During the project every participant will develop the following main skills and will achieve the following educational results:- developing foreign language skills- expanding their pedagogical horizons with the help of the gained knowledge and experience:

– acquiring new professional knowledge and teaching methods

– strenghtening their interpersonal and social skills

– strenghtening their intercultural awareness (social, linguistic and cultural diversity)

– openness to innovation; an opportunity to participate in local and international cooperation which will increase professional reputation

– strenghtening the efficient and authentic sharing of knowledge

Moreover, some participants will be able to access special individual opportunities (defined in the training plan) enabling them to further develop.

The project will result in the increase of the professional reputation and competetiveness of our school and teaching standards will also be raised. The international trainings selected on the basis of the requirements of every target group (students, teachers, parents, head of institution, school maintainer) will provide an opportunity to further expand the school’s knowledge base. As a result, the modernisation of the school shall continue and this will ensure visible and measurable achievements and favourable changes in many areas of the school (primarily in the grammar school).

Overall, the acquired new knowledge base and skill set will create an atmosphere in which challenges and innovation and changes are celebrated, and in which the aims transcending the projects will become feasible, and substantive steps will be taken along the universal European values.
